This women-only scramble made its debut in the fall of 2003 and was a resounding success! From the breakfast to the silent auction, to the beverages and dessert, this event is catered towards the woman golfer. This Golf Classic will rotate between Race Brook Golf Club and Oak Lane Country Club each year in the fall. Major sponsors are available for $5,000, with special location sponsors available from $1,500 to $2,500. Hole sponsors are $400. Sponsorship opportunities parallel the details of the Lisa D'Addario Shehan Golf Classic mentioned above. Nearly 100 women enjoy a full day of golf, including a short game clinic and top it off with dinner, silent auction, live auction, goodie bags, and raffles. All proceeds from this Classic benefit the After School and Saturday Program at the Center.

The Center wishes to thank the Honorable Denise Nappier, Treasurer of the State of Connecticut, and Donna Nappier for graciously lending their support in allowing the naming of the Classic in honor of their sister, Diane.
